I love giving. I am an empath and elderly people tend to steal my heart. Caring for my own grandmother gave me a sense of purpose and strength. Knowing I have the ability to improve someone's quality of life is a good feeling. I completed a degree in English and love writing and creative arts.

Caregiver Profile I feel that I am a very caring and loving person. I love to help others, which is why I am a teacher. I love helping students learn and excel physically, mentally, and academically. I also enjoy supporting anyone who needs assistance. I regularly help several older ladies by grocery shopping, cleaning, and taking them to doctor appointments. One of those individuals is my mother. Caring for others comes naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy making a difference in people's lives. I helped my husband a few years ago until he passed away in 2019. I have always had a caring, loving spirit, and I believe that if I can help others in any way, I want to do so. I found out about CareLinx through my mom's insurance, and it looked like something I was already doing and enjoying, so I decided to sign up. Seeing others happy and brightening their day in some way is the most fulfilling part of being a caregiver. Sometimes, it is just sitting and listening to them and providing emotional support. Helping others makes me feel better and gives me a sense of purpose. One of my proudest personal achievements was deciding to go back to school to become a teacher. As a mother of four children and a wife, I worked every day as a teacher in a private school while attending college at night and on weekends for four years to earn my degree. Later, this decision greatly benefited our family when my husband became ill with a chronic disease and had to quit work. I became the main provider for our family. Having my degree allowed me to get a better job with insurance and a higher salary, which helped me support my family during that challenging time. Being a caregiver is a continuation of my lifelong passion for helping others, and I am committed to providing compassionate and dedicated care to those in need
